Do you want to understand and design digital Augmented Reality (AR) applications? Can you imagine visiting a museum in a different, more interactive way?
The University Museum, in cooperation with the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, offers to the general public the “Creative Workshop of Interactive Educational Experiences at the Museum Using Augmented Reality.” During the workshop, which will be conducted in two sessions, participants will learn how to create interactive digital AR applications for constructive museum visits. Methods for collecting and processing multimedia material and ways to link it with exhibits to enrich the visiting experience will be presented.
No special software knowledge is required; mainly enthusiasm and a modern mobile phone to test the application created. The workshop will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, and Monday, February 20, 2023, from 17:00 to 21:00 at the Ionian University, I. Theotoki 72, Department of Archival, Library and Museum Studies, Ioannis Papadakis Laboratory, 2nd floor.
